Alpaca Llama Show Association

Sometimes these two camelids are shown at the same show, but other times the shows are kept separate.

We have really enjoyed these shows since they have a comfortable atmosphere to them. You see, we are down home folks at heart. Even though the show feels relaxed, the shows are well run and the judging is usually top notch!

The alpaca shows can include halter, walking fleece, fleece, 2 oz samples, spin-offs, fiber arts, showmanship, performance, and pack. So, there is plenty for you to do.

Also, they have a wonderful youth program including the full range of youth classes such as showmanship, obstacle, public relations, and pack. Some shows even include judging contests. So, there is plenty for your kids to do, too!

Alpaca shows can be scary at first since it is difficult to understand what is going on. However, we can take you to an alpaca show with us!

The purpose of this association is to enhance the visibility and to demonstrate the versatility of alpacas and llamas at shows in order to better educate the camelid community about the conformation and fleece characteristics of these awesome animals.
